Not just arabs, its common across muslim majority world - although in the more secular places, support to Ukraine exists, even among religious conservatives.
It is strange that some Muslims support Russians. Russians kill, oppress and bring to exile Muslims for many centuries. The murder of Qazan Tatars, of Nogays of Astarkhan and on the Qoban, the repressions in the whole Caucasus in the Russian Empire, the famine in QZ, the deportation of Qirimliler, and Caucasian peoples under Stalin, Chechenian wars under Putin. Are Russians friends of Islam and of Muslim peoples?
I cannot satisfactorily answer this especially as I am not muslim myself, my earlier comment was to show what I had observed online pertaining to support to russia among the community.
Well, I can. The Soviet and Russian disinformation machine has successfully convinced the people in the Third World, i.e. also Muslims, that the SU/RF was and is champion of the national liberation movement and not one more colonial and imperialist power. The English and the French are bad for the Third-worlders, but the Soviets and Russians are good. That is wrong, of course, but they really think so. You can read some books about Soviet disinformation, like by Romanian Pacepa, Czech Bittman, German Rid, or Russians Bezmenov/a.k.a Tomas Schuman or Levchenko, and you find many examples of skillful Russian manipulations in the Third World.
I do not say that Americans, British or French are "good" and "flawless". They are not. But Russians are not better (maybe the Soviets after Stalin were better, but Russians of now are much worse than Soviets of 1960-1980s were).
