Chechens, with their islamic background, the 1990s was too much associated with jihadism. Something that is absolutely a common enemy even for most muslims (I am not one but lives in such country)

In many ways, Eastern Europe is "more Western than the West." They've shed blood, sweat, and tears for centuries just to have a Western identity, to have the things we take for granted.
